DREAMER'S MILE
Deep in the back on the walls of my
mind
Where pictures flash and distant bells
chime
I feel my inner self traveling onward
in time
I arrive at a place which is destine
for dreams
Where happiness thrives with no
opposition it seems
And where self-satisfaction is found
by all means
Its mountains are steep, yet has
climbers who dare
Still the skies never
fall, the sun
is shone fair.
Fulfillment and strength are eternally
there
It's rid of it's liars and fools and
games
The worst never conquers with no one
to blame
Sorrow arrives and departs just the
same
If only I were stationed at this
fortunate destiny
An end would come to my search for
inner peace
Yet this fantastic land, this remote
heaven, is only
A dream's mile that will never be.
