REMEMBER ME FRIEND

One day we're like sisters

The next day just friends

Then we're acquaintances

And then it all ends

I don't understand

Why she did this to me

We were best friends

From what I could see

When I realize this

I thought I would die

She can't even mange

To simply say "Hi"

She walks right by

With her nose in the air

I hear rumors about her

But she doesn't care

One night she called

And I asked her why

I told her my feelings

And began to cry

She never gave me an answer

But I wanted to know

She said she'd call back

That was so long ago

So now I must face it

I know she's lost

She once was loyal

Our friendship the cost

I'll try to remember

All the good times we had

Even though some of them

Make me so sad

Now I've recovered

From the loss of my best friend

But I've important advice

I would like to lend

I hope that you read this

My friend, its for you

To have a good friend

You must first be one too.
